Duchy Joinery Multirail Case Study
Many utilise the Multirail™ Overhead Runway System to improve production processes and relieve pressure from staff, and this was precisely the case with Duchy Joinery of West Cornwall. Makers of bespoke joinery items, such as hardwood window frames and doors, the company has been running for 15 years out of Penzance.
Duchy decided it was time for a change and installed the Multirail™ System with fantastic results. Thomas Kliskey of Duchy Joinery was keen to emphasise the outstanding difference the system had made to their ways of working:
“(We use it for) Transporting doors and windows to the paint booth area, the work previously done by two workers now only needs one. Multirail seemed well suited to handling and painting bulky items with plenty of add-ons to grow it as a flexible system when we grow.”
“We would like to expand it beyond the painting area to other areas that would cut manual handling processes down. A skilled workforce can employ their precious time and efforts better than previously thanks to a flexible and adaptable materials handling system in this joinery workshop!”
Daniel Wells, Sales Director at Runners UK commented:
“Many joiners have installed our Multirail™ system into their spray booths, they are particularly popular for companies producing timber windows, doors and other carpentry items, saving them time, simplifying the process and overall allowing the joiners to produce a superior finished product.”
